The Publications Department of the Friends of St Cecilia’s Hall and Museum (FoSCHM) sells technical drawings based on the instruments in the museum at St Cecilia’s Hall and books.
All profits go to the Friends of St Cecilia’s Hall & Museum.
Technical drawings for sale
Workshop drawings and photographs of instruments in the Edinburgh University Collection of Historic Musical Instruments at St Cecilia’s Hall & Museum are available to buy.
The technical drawings, available as paper printouts, are suitable for building copies of the original instruments. Included in the price of each drawing (unless otherwise stated) are photographs showing details of the original instrument, and data sheets giving information on woods, string materials and dimensions. They are intended to allow detailed study of the construction of historic instruments for historical instrument makers and researchers.
